Ms. Yuna Sakai receives the Best Presentation Award at the 67th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Radiation Research Society

The 67th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Radiation Research Society (JRRS) was held in-person at Kitakyushu city, Fukuoka, Japan between September 25th to 28th, 2024. The annual meeting’s theme focused on “Lets talk! The foundation of future radiation issues” with major topics in medical exposure, radiation education, effects of low-dose radiation and others. At the conference, Ms. Yuna Sakai, a graduate student (M1) at the Institute of Radiation Emergency Medicine, Hirosaki University, gave a poster presentation on “Mitigating inhalation exposure with medical and general masks”. Ms. Yuna Sakai received the Best Presentation Award for her research at the conference.
