The 2024 fall semester at Hirosaki University has begun, and the Institute of Radiation Emergency Medicine (IREM) is proud to announce the promotions of three esteemed individuals. Dr. Hirofumi Tazoe has been promoted to Professor, Dr. Chutima Kranrod to Associate Professor, and Dr. Donovan Anderson to Assistant Professor. All three assumed their new roles on October 1st, 2024, under the leadership of Director Shinji Tokonami. The entire institute is eager to see their future contributions to IREM and the field of radiation research. Dr. Tazoe will continue advancing his research in radiochemistry, Dr. Kranrod in radiation health physics, and Dr. Anderson in radiation biology. Most importantly, all three are excited to educate and mentor young individuals with a passion for radiation studies. Their achievements mark a bright new chapter for the institute!
