On April 16, 2024, IREM concluded an Inter-department Agreement of Cooperation with the Institute of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection at Astana Medical University in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is one of the world’s leading resource-rich countries, and international joint research with Astana Medical University on the management of radiation exposure associated with resource development began in 2022.

On April 18, 2024, IREM concluded an Inter-department Agreement of Cooperation with the National Scientific Medical Center in Kazakhstan. The National Scientific Medical Center has more than 20 years of experience in providing multidisciplinary medical services using high technologies in the market of Kazakhstan and has reached the international level.

According to these agreements, joint research activities in the field of radiation protection and the exchange of students and faculty members will be promoted, and the partnership with the two institutions are expected to be further strengthened.
