The 65th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Radiation Research Society was held in-person at Osaka Metropolitan University between September 15th to 17th, 2022. The annual meeting has been held virtually for the past two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. At the conference, Dr. Donovan ANDERSON, Project Assistant Professor of the Department of Risk Analysis and Biodosimetry, Institute of Radiation Emergency Medicine, at Hirosaki University, gave an oral presentation on the construction of a dose-response curve for radiation dose assessment based on the accumulation of radiocesium in wild boars inhabiting Fukushima and chromosome aberrations induced by radiation exposure. He received the Best Presentation Award for his oral presentation.
