Institute of Radiation Emergency Medicine (IREM), Hirosaki University, and Suranaree University of Technology Forge New Research Partnership

The Institute of Radiation Emergency Medicine (IREM) at Hirosaki University, Japan, and Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), Thailand, have solidified a new academic partnership by signing a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The agreement establishes a collaborative framework to promote joint research and other academic activities between IREM and SUT’s School of Engineering.
The signing ceremony was held at Suranaree University of Technology, where the MOU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Shinji Tokonami, Director of IREM, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornsiri Jongkol, Acting President of SUT and Dean of its School of Engineering.
This partnership marks a significant step in fostering international cooperation and advancing knowledge in the fields of engineering and radiation sciences. The five-year agreement paves the way for collaborative projects, academic exchanges, and shared research initiatives.
